Turn

One of my all time favorite songs is by The Byrd's.
Its a song called " Turn Turn".
Quite simply - it says that everything turns. The weather, the tides, the winds, love.
Happiness turns to Sadness, Summer to Winter and all seasons have a purpose under the sun.
And so I go through my life. Slowly. But surely.
The truth is that just because I went looking for something and did not find it - doesn't mean that it does not exist.
It just wasn't my turn to find it.
Its brutal. But true.
Sometimes I have to let go.
And that doesn't mean that I am giving up.
All it means is that I am aware and that I accept ..painfully so at times that they are things that just cannot be.
Any different twist along the way- and I would be a completely different person walking in some one's shoes other than my own.
And I love my shoes, I love where they've taken me and how worn they feel.
So I keep walking. One step at a time.
