Human beings are funny creatures.
Time is boundary-less, limitless and forever. It doesnt play bugles and snare whistles to mark beginnings and endings. Theres no shrill bells when the day ends of a new quarter begins.
Yet we are obsessed.
Obsessed with marking everything as a beginning or an ending.
We came up with the almanacs, calenders, planners and what not.
Celebrate the end of weeks, months, seasons and even years.
And time - Time's too busy fleeting to sit up and take notice.
He's too busy changing our lives while we choose to take time out and label his passing.
So this year - I choose to just be.
Just be still in the middle of all the madness.
And hold on to the fleeting minute than the fleeting year... and live my entire life in it.
