Beyonce Knowles may be a far shout ..but Destiny's Child ..I am undoubtedly .
Growing up , I always had a plan . A Master Plan and a Back up plan..and ofcourse
a backup plan for the back up plan .
And for the longest time - it worked . Everything went by clockwork .No Deviations ..standard or otherwise . But everything was so planned that I used to get so pressurised and stressed that I never gave things ..me included a second chance . Days turned into years and before I knew it ..I was at a point where even the slightest hit of the unexpected would trow me into a frenzy .
But then call it a kahani mein twist or a funny hand of cards ..the winds changed .
When John Lenon said that "Life is what happens to us while we are busy making other plans" ...he didnt know that I was going to prove this hypothesis .
The reality is that I found out that the more precisely you plan ..the harder it is that destiny hits you .
The only way to move on is to be planful but at the sametime take into consideration that there is a greater force that resides in the world , that even when we think is wrecking havoc with the most carefully laid scheme ..is infact steering us .
And the only reason why we have so many things and relationships blow up in our faces ..is so that we can hopefully at some point put two and two together and recognize a good thing when we have it .
Not all things are meant to last forever ...and its this short shelf life that our most precious moments have is what infact makes them beautiful . So I;m trying to focus on what I have ..instead of what I miss or what may have happened ..and I have to tell you that the view looks pretty good from here .
Good night .
A Lily of a Day
Is Fairer Far in May
Although it blooms and dies at night
It was the plant and flower of light .
In short proportions we just beauty see ..
And in Short Measure ..Life may perfect be
