As the weekend looms closer - grey clouds continue to plague the seasons of my mind. No - not even Jazz is helping today. As the silence grows louder - I cant help but wonder when the cosmic forces are going to play savior. Then I realise coldly - that this time they arent going to. This storm is going to wage longer and harder than any one prior to it. Even my usually optimistic heart knows it. The mother of all battles.
As I lie in the trenches - unfortunately all I can see is stars. I still believe that more good will come out of this than bad. That there will be comfort, there will be friendhsip, there will be love. Even when I'm down and out and feeling completely insignificant - I have got to hold on and believe.
Maybe I read too many books with happy endings as a child.
I refuse to give up on me. Regardless of who else does.
