I've learnt

These days - its hard to be me.
No question about that.
These days - its hard to be around me.
And theres definately no question about that.
So while I put one foot in front of the other - and try hard to keep my chin up, here is a not so short list of what I have to try hard to remember -

I've learnt
- I've learnt that even the longest most dreadful day is only 24 hours long
- I've learnt that sometimes even nice people hurt each other
- I've learnt that I have a choice - even though it may not be one that I like and that it may hurt like hell to make it ..but I still have a choice
- I've learnt that telling yourself the truth hurts like hell for a while .. but denying it - hurts like hell forever
- I've learnt that I have to make peace and learn to love this mad person inside me who make stupid choices, loves a lot, gets heart broken, cries, hopes for the best, manages to do the worst, lacks focus and habitually questions herself
- I've learnt that above all - life wouldnt be the same without chocolate and treadmills
- I've learnt that the greatest gift is that even though you may end the day in a really dark place you can still wake up the next morning and have an armful of hope
- I've learnt that life would be terrible without close friends whom you can call and break down in front of
-I've learnt that even though it may seem like I'm in a really dark place - things will change. It may be harder than I expect - or longer than I expect ..but things will change.
-I've learnt that things may not be exactly the way I want them to be - but atleast I can laugh at myself now
- I've learnt that letting go means - growing up ..and the process of growing up .. is painful
