When you're in love with life - everything seems brighter, Mushy music makes absolute sense, nail paint has to be pink, Food tastes better, Jokes are one degree funnier , the sunsets are like Eastman color soul shattering moments and the silver moon makes me feel 16 all over again.

I'm looking out of my window at the brink of what is a spectacular summer day, this side of Char Minar. The skies are a blue that I have seen only in my dreams, the winds of change are blowing across the SV1 lawns, through my french windows and playing havoc with my hair and heart.

The Gods must be in Hyderabad today.

Some days I live life one day at a time and then there are times when several days attack me at once. The madness never ends. But there is method in the madness. Butterflies in my stomach but flying in formation.
I look out of my window and wonder when and how did I get here ?
Every long lost dream, every mistake, every turn in the road, every night spent late at work pretending that the Styrofoam coffee cup was a bright red mug, long minutes spent trying to find my car in crowded parking lots, friday nights spent alone watching seinfield, birthdays usherd in alone and unheard, picture postcard white christmas's the broke my heart, days spent cleaning shelves in the bookstore, expectations gone awry, friendships that have lasted decades, hopes that have lasted longer, tears that have refused to dry up and smiles that will never be forgotten.
One missed step and I would be a different person, in a different place leading a different life.
I'm 29 years old. And my city is Hyderabad.
