Dolce Vita

I love Life.

I want to live it - the way I'm meant to live it. Truly, Madly. Deeply....

So I'll fall down once in a while.

I'll win sometimes. I'll lose often.

I'll laugh a lot. I'll cry some more. And some of them tears will be joyous ones.

I'll see a thousand sunsets, I'll paint a few.

Before this joyride is over, I'll fall in love, have my heart broken a few times and experience moments of deep frustration.

But I'll also be witness to great friendship, unabandoned love and reckless passion.

Few of my prayers will be answered. Most of my dreams will shatter. But the ones that remain will give me more joy that I had wished for.

Some days will be terrible and others will be terrific. I'll remember them all.

Every once in a while I'll be desolate and inconsolable and need serious rescuing from rock bottom. There will be times I'll swing a sword to perfection on the top of a snow clad mountain with a red flag in the background.

I'll fight bad hair days, weight gain and two left feet.

I'll also enjoy madly .. books, ice cream and rain.

I'll be anxious and stressed often. I'll also have immense gratitude and joy.

I'll be my worst enemy and my best friend.

There are times I'll display immense stupidity. I only hope to do it gracefully.

I'll probably never learn to knit but hopefully will be able to tie the lose ends of my world together.

Somedays I'll wake up and draw the sheets back over my head, on others I'll kiss the sunlight silly.

There will be days that will stretch forever. There will also be moments that take my breath away.

I'll be serious about life ....I'll learn to laugh at myself hopefully.

Every moment that I feel alive, I'll feel powerful and blessed.

One day I'll do something that will change everything. It could be today.
